Schizophrenic Poem #2

When the light shines down
I wonder about the people
How do we stop a war?
My mother is giving things away
----- I was going too fast.

When I was a child At first I thought
My mother thought about her sister
I forgot about the Western Union telegraph
I forgot about the clock
----- had to return to get my gloves and hat -

We went with my parents. It never overpowered us.
Why did he do it, really? - maybe ice crystals
White. Cold. Sunny.
Sweet, heavy, orange smell.
----- how they smell today.

Trees on a mountain in winter
Sold off by my grandchildren
I am a woman. I love almost all
Smell the orange blossoms.
-----only reason
              we get older.
