There are five possibilities.
One: You're dead.
Two: You're alive, but have amnesia.
Three: You're alive, well aware that I'm waiting for you to do something,
but you've been kidnapped by aliens, forced to have one of those medical examinations, and have been returned in an altered state of consciousness.
Four: You're alive, have passed the online Jeopardy test, and have been invited to an in-person interview; you're busy studying to make a good impression.
Five: You're alive, but were serious when you said you'd be gone forever.
I think I prefer option two.
